Due to the different widths of road tunnel sections, when selecting guardrails for the transition section of tunnel openings, in addition to collision resistance and buffering performance, the guiding performance of the guardrails must be emphasized. Compared to other guardrails, rotating anti-collision guardrails have typical advantages:
1) Concrete guardrails are rigid guardrails with relatively poor guidance and cushioning performance.
2) The corrugated beam guardrail is a semi-rigid guardrail with general guidance and cushioning performance.
3) Cable guardrail is a flexible guardrail with general guidance and cushioning performance.
The anti-collision level of the rotating anti-collision guardrail is SB (SBm) level. While ensuring anti-collision performance, the guidance and buffering performance of the rotating anti-collision guardrail have breakthrough improvements compared to traditional guardrail products. It is a guardrail artifact for the transition of tunnel openings.
